Planning a HOPE for the Widowed Event
Covering your event with concerted prayer from start to finish is far more important than any of the details or the “pretty fluff.” The purpose of events is to provide an environment where God can move in the hearts and lives of the attendees while they gather in community, not just to have pretty tables or something on the calendar.

While you may have had lots of experience planning events of various types, there is a chance this is new territory for you. If that is the case, then don’t worry. There are so many amazing resources out there to help you all along the process.
It is important to remember that no two events look alike, or have the same feeling. So while you may use an event you’ve attended as inspiration, don’t feel pressured to duplicate it. Each event is unique, and God will move in unique ways in the lives of each person in attendance.
