Resource Manual
All widows and widowers lose a great deal when their spouse dies. But for a widowed pastor or their spouse, the loss is even greater.
Since 2012, Cindy McKinley has directed a ministry called More Than Conquerors, which reaches out to the widows and widowers of credential holders in the Pennsylvania-Delaware Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. Just as she has stood on the shoulders of those who have gone before her in this ministry, Cindy has compiled tools and resources to help those coming behind her to form their own much-needed ministries geared toward this special group of people.
This manual is a resource and guide for beginning a ministry to widowed ministerial credential holders and their spouses.
For those who have purchased a manual, digital versions
of various resources can be downloaded using the password found
on both page 26 and the final page of the manual.

After centuries of instruction and demonstrating care for this particular group, the body of Christ does well to examine its efforts and refine its processes in ministering to those who are so close to the heart of God. This training manual will offer new insights on giving well-deserved attention to those who could otherwise be overlooked in the daily clamor of activity that so often demands our resources. If there is one thing that the church ought to excel at, it is giving care and compassion to its widows and widowers. This training manual will assist you in developing systems and expressions that fulfill our mandate to serve those who served the Lord and His beloved church.
